Sustainable Lifestyles - adult life beyond the party
Hedonism is nice but it is not the end-all of life. Munching, sloshing,
clubbing, and play partying are fun. Yet, many people in the
alternative lifestyle community yearn to share something more sustainable. We
quest long and hard to locate actual friends for long term "safe, sane,
and secure" relationships where we can express enduring love as well as
momentary delight. We yearn for something we must create together, for
aid & support when the chips are down, people we can unite with to
raise each other up, and a sense of true family and tribe.
We tend to be green by nature and intent. We have deep concerns about
the state of the environment as well as our own personal pleasure. It is
not hard to recognize the symptoms of culture collapse and eminent
climate shift. It's okay to face reality and it certainly helps having a
support network. This group is open to building networks while sharing
conversation and action on anything legal and consensual between loving
adults. Politically and religiously speaking, we stand for no
particular party or preacher and consider all fair game. Power to the people.
Stand alone together. Recycle everything. Sustainability is the goal.
Our network is pansexual in nature. Anything legal between adults may
be discussed. Flaming is taboo. Slow stewing is fine. When you join the
group you will be asked to participate in a series of important polls
about what you are interested in. This will help us steer the
conversation and plan networking events. If you are a member of another group,
please feel free to post contact and event information for that group. We
believe in cross-group networking because it's good for everyone
concerned. Commercial SPAM is not allowed. Promoting your own small business
is all right but don't overwhelm the list. What you know how to do
(skills, crafts, education, training) is important. Post a personal intro.
Tell the group something about yourself beyond the simple one-liner.
If you are just trying to score a quickie, head elsewhere or stay around
for an education. You'll not find another group like it on the net !!!
