About Faerie Hill Farm....
"Faerie represents that place in nature where one is aware of and is in conscious communication with the intelligence of the flora and fauna of the vital woodlands. This is a sensitive place for perceptive people. In Faerie the trees are inhabited by wood elves, wild flowers are filled with fairies, and the bubbling spring is home for cavorting water nymphs. It is difficult to plunder and pollute a sacred place populated by magical beings. That is why, in modern times, to most people Faerie is shrouded by thick mists. As long as we cannot see what is actually living here, it is easier to ignore the damage being done to the natural world. If ignorance is bliss, bliss is not a good thing to be trapped within. Ignorant people (no matter how well educated) view the forest as a virtual image on TV. Reality is hemmed in by four walls and a computer screen. Reside in a sterile environment long enough and soon nothing seems to matter except electrons. Refuse to connect with Faerie and nature becomes a distant weather report affecting little inside the maws of a modern climate controlled building. That is - until the global life support system (Faerie) fails. Then, too late, we are left with wondering what happened to the air we breath and the water we drink - and why we were stupid enough to turn it into poison. It is time to clear the mists away from the stargate to Faerie, to bring the living forest into the living room, to grow more houseplants, channeling waste water through the plant beds, completing the natural cycle close to home. Houses need to be nestled into the woods rather than cutting away all the trees to plant yet another suburban lawn. Communities need to be built around nature sanctuaries. The sacred circle groves must be planted anew. Tap the clean power of sunlight, wind, and moving water - directly - and wean ourselves off the greasy habit of burning the fossil fuel of Mordor. With your help, the masking mists are parting. Faerie is coming back to Planet Earth. Are you surfing the incoming wave? We are not talking about becoming a primitive throwback to pre-civilization. Nope. This time we are consciously integrating humanity with nature, nature with machinery, and machinery with nature. The New Faerie will planted in Lunar outposts, Mars colonies, and on our home world. Spaceship Earth is a dawning reality. Plants provide our primary means of life support. Clear your mind of contrary propaganda. Part the veil of ignorance and the Holy of Holies will be revealed. Faerie Hill Farm is a 16 acre sacred space located amongst the green clad limestone hills of Southern Indiana, a portal where Faerie may come back to Earth. We are planting an edible landscape, turning an old farm hill into a life supporting paradise with the addition of multi-fruit orchards laid out in a giant spiral around the hilltop with hedge lines of blackberries, raspberries, bush cherries, apricots, mulberries, and more. We're building grape and kiwi vine arbors, planting artichoke and day lily patches, plus herbs and flowers everywhere, as the fairies direct. We're doing our best to pay attention to what nature wants us to do. Some of the land is being left wild including a 6 acre woodlands, at the heart of which is a beautiful spring and geode filled stream bed. On the top of Faerie Hill we're building the Faerie Hill ECOARK, an off-grid solar/wind electrified home which recycles everything turning waste water into fresh water, organic solids into compost, and stale air into clean oxygen-rich air to keep us healthy and happy whatever the outside conditions.
